With Proposition 8 being a CALIFORNIA ISSUE I am confused as to why the people of St Louis have not gone after the HATRED that is more localized:

St. Louis ended the year with 167 homicides, the highest number since 204 people were killed in 1995. Kansas City saw 126 slayings, just one shy of the 127 in 2005 — the most for any year this decade.
So, if you're pro gay/equal rights, does that mean you will stop calling women 'girls'? Just wondering- love, a feminist. ;)
